Despite the distance between its members, Plaster Cast creates incredibly intimate music. Their sound perfectly captures the dreamy, melancholic vibe of bedroom pop but adds a unique twist. Following the sunny title track, “Waves” shifts to a more moody, atmospheric tone.
The track draws from dream pop and chillwave but doesn’t stick to one genre. With a groovy bassline, gentle synths, and steady drums, it stands out from typical bedroom ballads, blending retro funk with futuristic indietronica.
