During the pandemic, the members of Pon Far collaborated by emailing musical ideas, which led to the creation of “Clean.”
The track begins with a lovely falsetto, lo-fi percussion, and vibey guitar strums. About twenty seconds in, the production picks up with steady drums and a melodic bass line, adding more depth to the indie-pop vibe. Synths swirl subtly in the background, while vocal harmonies bring a rich texture throughout the song, creating a captivating experience.
At around 01:15, there’s a brief break, pulling back the layers to a simple pulse and soft vocals before returning to the full production for a dynamic finish.
