Starting with a gentle and monotonous tune of synthesised strings before Tamera comes in, her voice complements the playful percussion and warm synths. The song builds up and progresses in the same way as a first date, and it discusses the essence of love with a hint of wordplay with lyrics such as “got me on tap/on WAP”.
The song has a highlight with Tay Iwar, who has previously collaborated with WizKid. Iwar’s vocals seep into spaces left in the melody before he and the other artist sing.
