HARLOE, a New York born artist of Ukrainian and Romanian descent, rose to fame in 2019 after she was introduced to the world through the song “All This Love” by Robin Schulz. However, before she started making her own music, HARLOE had already established herself as a songwriter for Ne-Yo, Charli XCX, Ella Mai, Kelly Clarkson, and Britney Spears.
At the same time, working on hits for others, HARLOE also worked on her own music and released a series of singles that led to her first solo project called River Runs Dry last year. Her emotional and powerful voice made the album popular as she sang about love, pain, and even career setbacks. After that, she went on to record more music, working with artists such as SAK PASE and producer Latroit.
Her recent songs, PWR RNGR and Liquid Truth are different from her previous songs. The stripped down sound of her previous albums is no more and in its place is a very polished sound. HARLOE’s fearlessness in venturing into uncharted territories in terms of sound is a clear indication that she is an artist willing to grow and try out any genre that interests her.
